"Sissi"

 Sissi arrived in the United States the end of May 2006. She comes from the world famous Mimmtrix Kennels in Sweden and her pedigree is simply outstanding. Much care and thought has gone into producing a truly versatile Weimaraner. When Mimmi Erixon of Mimmtrix was looking for a mate for her beautiful "Sydney" she found one of the best males that Germany had to offer-- Golo Vom Zehnthof.  Mimmi's connections, in the Weimaraner world,  are second to none and her breeding philosophy is exactly the same as ours. We expect our Weimaraners to hunt. Many long time Weimaraner breeders ask us why we have gone to the time and expense of importing new blood into the U.S.  The answer is simple-- We believe in these bloodlines and we think that a Weimaraner should have both beauty and tremendous drive in the field. Far too many breeders are only concerned with looks, angulation, or chest size. Several of these over angulated, large chested show dogs,  will not last all day in the field. Our hope is that someday our breed will find a happy medium between show and field Weimaraners  so we can promote this wonderful breed to do what they were originally bred to do. "The cream is starting to rise" as many of Brit's (our first import),  offspring are showing great promise in the field. Her pupppies also have exceptional conformation as an added bonus.  We think that Sissi will be able to add some valuable assets to our breed here in the U.S. too.  We want to thank Mimmi Erixon for this special little girl and can't wait for her to make her mark in the United States !!!!

                                             Sissi wins her fist show !!

Sissi passes her Junior Hunt Test in 4 straight !!!

Sissi breezed through her JH title in 4 straight passes !!!  She is a driven bird dog that loves to please. Sissi earned her first two passes the first weekend of March 2008 in Lee Summit Kansas and finished her title March 23 in Lincoln Nebraska at the Branched Oak Field Trial grounds. We are looking forward to much more from this versatile young girl !!!!
