Buyers Agreement
Winsome Weims is dedicated to the improvement of the Weimaraner. The intent of this contract is to assure that the dogs produced from this kennel will receive appropriate care and will be protected from indiscriminate breeding, so that the outstanding qualities of health and versatility are enhanced. It is to be recognized that this Weimaraner puppy represents many years of careful breeding and is considered to be of extreme value both to the seller and to the buyer. Therefore the buyer agrees to provide all necessary veterinary services, will protect from injury and will not allow the animal to roam free in the community (i.e., shall maintain the dog in a fenced in area with adequate shelter.)

The buyer agrees to pay nonrefundable deposit of $200.00 to reserve the right to purchase a puppy from this litter. This will be a deposit towards the purchase price of the puppy. The balance to be prior to the time of shipping/possession is $__________. Any shipping charges will be the buyers responsibility. This animal and registration papers applying to this animal will remain the property of the seller until final payment is made. Deposits are only refundable if no appropriate puppy is available in this litter. Puppies are picked at the discretion of the breeder.
Buyer agrees that the name “Winsome” will appear in the registered name of the dog.
Buyer will maintain the best possible standards of canine health, cleanliness and veterinary care, including mental health such as contact with people and exposure to the outside world.
All dogs are guaranteed for 6 months against any genetic health irregularities and it is recommended that the buyer have the puppy examined by a vet during this period. A full refund will be given for any puppy found ill by veterinary exam during the first 72 hours. Seller guarantees the sire and dam of this puppy are healthy and free of any temperament or genetic defects at time of breeding. No other guarantees are made. The buyer accepts complete responsibility for the health and well being of this animal from date of possession and agrees that loss, death or disablement of this animal shall in no way nullify, lessen or alter the obligation to the seller under the terms of this contract
Seller guarantees that all shots are current, and deworming accomplished as necessary.
Buyer agrees that no puppies produced by this dog or bitch will ever be sold or consigned to pet shops or other wholesale outlets at any time. To screen all prospective buyers to assure that puppies will have a safe and loving home. Buyer also agrees to pay the sum of $3,000.00 as liquidated damages in the event of breach on this part of the contract.
Buyer agrees that, should they ever decide to part with this dog, the seller will have first option to take the dog back. Should the buyer’s situation change in that they can no longer care for the dog, they must notify the seller immediately. The seller will take the dog back or assist in finding a suitable home for it. AT NO TIME will this WINSOME WEIMS dog be surrendered to a shelter or humane society. The seller will always assist in placing this dog. There is also the Weimaraner Club of America Rescue Group that helps dogs in need so that no Weimaraner ends up in a shelter.
____ Buyer understands that they have purchased a Weimaraner for Pet/companion, Pet/hunting. This dog will be sold with “LIMITED AKC REGISTRATION” meaning that should a litter be produced from this dog, the resulting puppies WOULD NOT be eligible for AKC registration.If proof is shown that the pup/dog is spayed or neutered, the “ LIMITED AKC REGISTRATION” will be removed. If this puppy is sold with the intentions of possibly breeding at a later date the buyer agrees that the title of Field Champion, Show Champion, or Master Hunter will be obtained by the dog before the “ LIMITED AKC REGISTRATION” will be removed.

It is also representative of its breed, structurally and temperamentally suited as well as a companion and/or hunting/obedience dog. This dog will also be sold with “LIMITED AKC REGISTRATION” this means that should a litter be produced from this dog, the resulting puppies WOULD NOT be eligible for AKC registration. If this puppy is sold with the intentions of possibly breeding at a later date the buyer agrees that the title of Field Champion, Show Champion, or Master Hunter will be obtained by the dog before the “ LIMITED AKC REGISTRATION” will be removed. Buyer also agrees that this Weimaraner will be bred only to mature Weimaraners with excellent prenatal and post-natal care. That only AKC registered Weimaraners with hips that have been X-rayed and certified free from Hip Dysplasia by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) To only breed with the intentions of improving the breed and of finding suitable homes for the puppies.

This dog will also be sold with "CO-OWNERSHIP" until the title of AKC Show Champion is acquired. The seller will have the option at that time to remove the co-ownership. If this puppy is sold with the intentions of possibly breeding at a later date the buyer agrees that this Weimaraner will be bred ONLY to mature Weimaraners with excellent prenatal and post natal care. That only AKC registered Weimaraners with hips that have been X-rayed and certified free from Hip Dysplasia by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). To only breed with the intentions of improving the breed and of finding suitbale homes for the puppies.

The buyer agrees that, should they not meet any and all terms of this agreement, the seller may reposes this animal, after giving 5 days written notice. The buyer agrees to pay any lawyer fees, court costs, traveling and shipping expenses, and other miscellaneous expenses incurred by the seller in repossessing this animal.
Buyer agrees that any further transfers of this Weimaraner are bound by this agreement.
Seller certifies that all statements made in this contract are true and correct to the best of there knowledge.

This agreement is established in accordance with the objectives of the Weimaraner Club of America and is set forth as a guideline to protect and advance the interests of the Weimaraner by maintaining high breeding standards and by encouraging sportsmanlike competition
